Dan,
Thanks for the reply. The problem is not so much that I CANNOT set the option
NONE in the drop down list of the PRINT options(although that appears to be a bug)
but that the key shortcut CTRL-P freezes and does not go into the print
dialogue and therefore I have no drop down option of printers.
So I am still unable to print from that shortcut.
Hope this is clear enough.

I have also noticed that the option : Tools/Options/LibreOffice writer/Print,
in the setting OTHER (bottom left of open dialogue window) will always revert
to FAX (even though I select the NONE option in that dialogue, (since I use
the fax printer driver and have no dedicated fax software) once I close the
Options dialogue and restart LiBo,
I have also tried placing the Send Default Fax in the STANDARD TOOLBAR
hoping that it would work as well as the Print File Directly Icon bur all I
get if I try it is the following message:
No fax printer has been set under Tools/Options/Text document/ Print
This option "text Document" does not appear to exist in V 3.5.4.2
Tools/Options or if it does it is cunningly disguised and I cannot find it.
I can only assume that the CTRL-P shortcut starts looking for a non existent
printer and also that the the constant reverting to the fax option in in the
OPTIONS dialogue is a bug... but has anyone else had this problem and is
there a solution?
Here is my system:
OS: win XP sp3 with all patches
AV: Microsoft security essentials
PRINTER: Lexmark 5400 series
Epson 1290
FAX: Microsoft fax driver
All drivers are up to date.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this as I am completely at a
loss..
Cheers
Henri
