Hi :) Yes, Regina's answer was much better. As always. There are a few things that are not quite perfect in LibreOffice and people have sometimes managed to get so annoyed about a certain thing that they do re-write it and that improves the project for a lot of people.
I thought that this might be one of those times but Regina's answer kinda hints that the templates categories is not such a mess after all. I found it best to avoid templates in MS Office and have carried that on into LO but it sounds like they are worth trying in LO. The same was true with styles which are a huge help for me in LO.
