Sorry answers have been unhelpful!  I think it's probably best to post a 
bug-report about it to help fix whatever went wrong in LO.  

As a work-around ... If you still have OpenOffice on your machine then it might 
be good to just copy&paste the table from one copy of the rtf into the next 
version of the rtf & perhaps everything after the table too if it's still 
corrupted.
