Correction of my post of yesterday.
When I opended Writer this morning, both panels where above each other as I dragged them yesterday.
I can arrange them even without Ctrl+. I also can arrange which pannel I want to have on top and the
size of the pannels. A pretty nice functionality.

Works for me with LibO 3.5 from package manager of Ubuntu 12.4 and with Apache OpenOffice as
well. The docked positions of navigator and stylist are preserved for both components Writer and
Calc throughout subsequent sessions.
