Hi :)
It might be some weird setting or configuration or an Extension gone wonky.  
Renaming your User Profile gets you "back to factory defaults" and tends to fix 
a lot of weird problems.  


By renaming rather than deleting you can copy back parts of the old profile 
into the new one and perhaps use that to pinpoint exactly what caused the 
problem.
