Hi :) Don't self referencing equations usually tend towards chaos and have fractal dimensions? It's a bit beyond the scope of a spreadsheet! Is there a way of limiting the number of iterations or does Calc just protect it self (and the cpu) from calculations running away towards chaos?
Tom,
Open a Calc file and...
See Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Calc -> Calculate - Iterations
Mine is blank (unchecked) but once checked, then the maximum iterations and value change limit can be set.
Hope this helps.
