Hi :)
You can change a lot of the colours by going to 
Tools - Options - Appearance
On the docs list apparently some people find it best to change the colour of 
the page-end because it's defaults to light grey against a light grey 
background.  I guess it's not particularly an issue for most people otherwise 
it would have been set differently.
