...... I know I can get this effect be editing A1 manually, ....... ==> I thought the strikeout (or for that matter ANY formatting) applies to the entire cell. I tried to strike out cde from abcdefg but had no idea how to do it. What could be the trick? Quite possible I have earlier version (check below) but that not possible with the large number of cells I want to edit in this manner. Can anyone tell me a way to do this, please? I'm willing to program this in basic if it's the only way.
