Hi everybody I decided last year not to buy a new version of MS Office and to use Libre Office instead. It has worked fine for one year and I can exchange docs with many friends using MS Office. Recently a guy sent me a doc created on a Mac. It is impossible to open it . LO opens a small window (ASCII filter options) and converts the doc to a unreadable scribble. I have not found the good coding, if any. Nor have I found a thread about taht point in the archive. Perhaps is it because English is not my mothertongue, and i have failed to find the good words...
So thanks for help Bruno Oh I have omitted to say that, if a Friend opens this doc into Windows with MS Office, it works.
