It does not say that the currently available build is a BETA

A BETA Release is NOT in the same league as a Release Candidate

It says 'Pre-releases', not 'Release Candidates'...

A pre-release (think 'Alpha' releases) can be even more buggy/error prone than a BETA...

But if you think that is irrelevant, suit yourself...

It is very relevant, but you have to understand the terms for the context. You are complaining because you apparently are equating 'pre-release' with 'release candidate'...
