thank u for the "re-saved" copies, but they did not work with
LIBREOFFICE 3.5.7.2, too.
no way to open them, LIBREOFFICE still asking for ASCII filter and
then freeze.
i have to be able to start this *.ppt from the cd, because the
complete cd have to be presented via projector to a crowd, so the idea
with "reburning" was good, but the files do not work.
i now uninstalled LIBREOFFICE 3.5.7.2 and installed LIBREOFFICE
4.0.0.1 and everything works fine.

I'm sending you a link (from an alternative
address) to two re-saved copies, one saved from
OpenOffice, and the other repaired by Powerpoint
2007. Will either of these open in your LibreOffice?

Can you copy the files to a new CD but include the repaired .ppt
document file?
