Hey All,
I need to link a database to several external spreadsheets.
A.> If I use the DB wizard to create a DB linked to a spreadsheet I get
the table named by the name of the tab inside the spreadsheet. That's
great but I can not add any more tables, linked or otherwise.
B.> If I add a new table by opening a spreadsheet in Calc, and then
selecting the data in the spreadsheet, copying, and then pasting it into
Base, with the table icon selected, I get a table with fixed data.
I need to do A.> to link to multiple external tables. I also need to be
able to create additional tables that are not links to external
spreadsheets.
A few weeks of perusing the manual, google, and the help files has not
provided an answer.
Maybe I need to use MS Access.
Any suggestions?
