Hi :)
You will notice that was a very old thread.  It's a rare event that you will 
probably not be able to repeat on any future install or other messing around 
with your system even if you deliberately try breaking things.  Windows just 
does weird things like that occasionally.  Most systems suffer some sort of 
"system rot" over time.  Some much worse than others but all suffer from it.  
Now that you have fixed it you'll probably never see that particular dll 
problem again.
