Hi ???,

You can say miltus.

Use Format > Page and there the tab "Page". There is a drop-down list
"Format" in section "Layout settings". From that list use the item
"Native Numbering".
I'm using LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 Build ID: 350m1(Build:2) in debian wheezy
and the "Native Numbering" item is not there in the "Format" drop-down
list.
Do I have to change some settings ?

I do not have this old version to look whether this feature exists there. I use LibreOffice 4.0, and there "Native Numbering" is in that list.

It uses the language from "Local setting" which you
have set in Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages.
Can You provide some details which option to change here ?

"Tools > Options > Language Settings > Languages" is the way through menu and dialog items to the field. You have to set the field "Local settings" to the local, which fits to the "Indian language".

Kind regards
Regina
