Yes, it is a valid question.  Not sure what an invalid one would be tbh but if 
any are any then this isn't one of them.  Also good to ask this list first.  
There are sometimes people here that do have a clue about this sort of thing 
but the place with the most people that are most likely to know is the devs 
list.  It might be worth joining just for a couple of days if you can filter 
all their posts to a new folder or filter out all except replies to just your 
question or something like that.  I get the impression that it's a very high 
traffic list so don't join unless you can find a way to filter it somehow.  
Perhaps a new email address that you can delete after unsubscribing?
