Hello,

I have read that to install a new version of LibreOffice, it is not necessary to uninstall the previous one. I can install "over" the previous. I am currently using version 4.0.1.2 (and am new to LibreOffice, I never used older versions).

I would like to know if during installation of the new version, the installation settings of the previous one will be "remembered". I mean: when installing LibreOffice I chose to not install Base, and also changed other installation options; do I have to do this changes each time I install a new version?

Shall I choose to install with default options (in case the options from the previous installation will be remembered), or shall I do a custom install, and manually do all changes again? I want to make sure that Base does not get installed, and possibly to keep all settings (both installation and program settings).

Thanks.

Thomas
