In which module are you trying to write this character ? And I assume
you mean the slanted symbol for integration ?

If you are trying to write this in the Math module, then you can enter :

int sup infinity sub 0 e sup -st f(t)dt for the Laplace transform.


or if in Writer, Insert > Object > Formula (or is it Equation, I don't
have the English version to hand ?)
