Yepp.

Did you try a newer version?

I don't know if this problem is caused by LibreOffice itself or by the
underlying window manager (or by a bad interaction between the two), but
it's always worth testing a newer LibreOffice version. I'd prefer a
Vanilla version from www.libreoffice.org to a distribution's version,
because the latter in most cases has been slightly modified.

The closest bug description I found is
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=68168
which happens to be also occuring on Linux.

And the CSV files, do they happen to be huge?
