Could you maybe tell me exactly what it is you are trying to do as a final result? Do you want to write a letter/paper/manual/document with the formula in it? Are you trying to make a poster with the formula? If you used the procedure I described in my previous mail to insert a formula into a Writer document, you can change the font and size when editing the formula. Simply double click on the formula to go back into the Formula editor, then under "Format" you will find both "Fonts" and "Font Size". The borders around the formula will automatically grow to fit the formula, but if you want them thicker, you can change this by going back to the "Borders" tab under the "Object" menu item when right clicking on the formula, as you did to set the borders initially, and set the thickness from there.
