No, a sane mail client will do what you tell it to do.
If I click Reply All, it should Reply All.
But yes, a sane client will also have a 'Reply to List' capability.
I like Thunderbirds 'Smart Reply' button, but sadly it only works on the
button toolbar down on the message header pane (which I keep collapsed,
so never use), not on the main toolbar.
