Hi :) Windows needs regular maintenance and it does quite a lot during normal shut-down and switch on. So a lot of people are starting to miss out on all that now that laptops are becoming so common.
When you start LibreOffice it tries to recover any documents it feels weren't saved properly but usually it's best to just cancel out of that and let LibreOffice start normally.
