Hello, First of all, I am not sure if I am sending this e-mail to the correct place. Please, excuse me if this is the case. I am not asking for support but rather giving an idea for the LibreOffice project.
LibreOffice Impress is great. The only drawback I can find is the lack of templates. Under the "Master pages" tab and in the templates-center are some some great templates but the quantity is far from enough. This makes people make their own templates almost all the time. What I am sure of is they all wanted to save those 20 minutes. We NEED a richer templates-center. This is what my idea is all about. Imagine if everyone who ever created a template in Impress submitted it to the templates-center. I am sure the "lack of templates" problem would have been gone. But people don't submit their templates to the templates-center. Some of them don't even know it exists! Now imagine if these people who had to create their own template were given an easy way during template creation (for example in the templates manager) to have their template submitted to the templates-center. I am not saying all of them will contribute. But I am sure that most of these people are aware of the lack of templates and will be happy to be part of the solution to the problem. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
