Hi :) Grrr, sorry, i hit send instead of delete! So if you left click (normal mouse click) then it opens Writer but if you right-click then you get a "context menu" which allows you to
"Send to" - "Desktop" and that creates a short-cut on your desktop to save you from having to dig around in the menus all the time. Of course you also open Writer just by double-clicking on any document to open it.
