I press F11. I see a small panel ("Styles and Formatting").

Delete
does appear to work though the deleted style reappears later.
My custom styles were created within the _new_
Conditional Formatting dialog box which, by the
way, does not appear to be documented in the Help list.
That's the bit that people will need in order to
help, of course. Sadly I cannot.
