Hi Tom, Increasing the memory didn't work. Libre office still crashes and I can't figure out why it does that when i click on the object. Also when i turned off java and clicked on the object it then asked me to turn on back Java in libre office.
I can't send the actual word document because its too big, its 6.3mb and at my school we can only send a maximum of 2mb. Also I don't know if the libre office mailing list would allow me to send attachments in compressed file formats. But it would be in 1mb parts. So anything else I can try. Since its a mp3 file that is in microsoft word document why won't libre office just tell like rhythmbox to open the file or vlc player? Can i set such an option? Also libre office doesn't allow me to copy the ole object and paste it on my desktop so I can then try and open it with a program like rhythmbox or vlc player. Is their a way i can enable such a feature? Since it keeps crashing libre office. > Hi :) > Perhaps increase the memory settings in > Tools - Options - Memory > > Crashes used to be associated with java usage most of the time.
