Raymond, Thanks for the tip. I'm assuming that you are referring to the PDF/A-1a format regarding the fonts being included in the PDF. The only one that makes a real difference in appearance is Courier New is much lighter than Courier. The other two are virtually identical, at least at 12pt so for most work those substitutions would work fine.
