Thanks Cley: I have been a victim of not digging deeply enough ...
I attempted to open my pdf using the FoxIt reader, and everything worked just fine. Then I discovered why Adobe Reader (my default) couldn't handle it - I just hadn't found the right security dialog (there are quite a few of them). Once I found Preferences | Trust Manager | Allow all web sites, everything worked fine. This is obviously not a "safe" way to do this I guess - I suspect that one would normally want the security setting to deny all such requests unless the document overrides it, but I'll need to research that. So, the problem appears not to have anything at all to do with Libre Office. Sigh... I've been using computers since before the IBM PC and continually wonder how someone with no experience gets anything done. BUT - you pushed me in the right direction by suggesting another reader, so Thanks Much! -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Getting-Hyperlinks-to-work-in-pdf-exports-tp4097895p4098030.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
