Hi :) There are pre-built versions available for download. The extra efficiencies gained by doing the build yourself is unlikely to be worth the hassle. it is a lot easier to just download the main installer, language-pack and "in-built help".
However, please let us know which Operating System you are using and we might be able to help. Are you on Slackware, Xp, Win7, Ubuntu, Mac or which? I suspect the devs irc channel or mailing list might be more helpful if you really do need to do the build but they will want to know which system you are using and whether you have done any builds of anything else before.
