errr, i should point out that this is a public-access mailing-list so
there are people here from all over the place, many different
skill-sets, many different ways of approaching problems.  The
flip-side of that is that it's best to avoid sending confidential
information to this mailing-list so attachments don't reach the list
at all to avoid potential embarrassment.
