hah, ok so Ubuntu 14.04's "Startup Disk Creator" only worked for a few of
the distros i downloaded.  No immediately obvious pattern wrt family etc.

Bodhi was amazing!  A tad empty but looks intriguing, kinda reminds me of
antiX a bit but is completely different.

Mint Xfce and Mint Mate and Kubuntu were really fast!  I'd heard the folks
at Kde were working hard at making it faster and lighter but never believed
it until i saw it racing along there!
