See American bald eagle; endangered species. -------------------------- 1.8 and 2.28 are paragraph numbers that the publisher will convert to page numbers. This is about three times as much work for me. The word See was in larger sans serif font. so when I did my index that is what I used. but what was needed is the normal practice, italics for the word See. The word processor I use, Libre writer, had made a font substitution in the doc file. After I get paid for the index I will suggest to them that: a. the crazy format increases the amount I must charge for an index. b. Their instructions should be distributed as a pdf with fonts embedded to avoid the kind of error I made. -- John Culleton Wexford Press Free list of books for self-publishers: http://wexfordpress.net/shortlist.html PDF e-book: "Create Book Covers with Scribus" available at http://www.booklocker.com/books/4055.html -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
