Hi :) Sometimes people have no choice about using Internet Explorer but usually in those cases they also can't install anything else either.
So it might be worth considering getting the "Portable Apps" or "WinPenPack" version of LibreOffice (and a few other things onto the same usb-stick. That way you can run the apps that are on the usb-stick without having to install them to the machine you are on.
