Usually, moving/renaming profiles is very scarcely done, only in case something goes wrong. Most of the time LibreOffice do a good job of updating it.
Anyway, most of the actual content of the profile (macro, template, and other stuff) can either directly be saved outside of it, and even if it's not, each file/directory can be moved around without trouble.
