Hi :) @ Ann. ComputerActive is a magazine about IT. People in the UK tend to only know 1 language. For most it's some variant of English. For others it might be some other language. Some of the ones who only speak English sometimes get all obnoxious and demand the rest somehow magically understand and speak English even despite the lack of training places and the exorbitant costs of study.
@ Marianne-x. Yes we often find that hindsight is fantastic at making things obvious. I am sure all of us have found ourselves in a similar situation of completely misunderstanding something and then somehow breaking through and suddenly finding it was kinda easy really. Before making the break-through it's impossible to understand though. Hopefully we can figure out what is going on and help.
