Sorry - I must have had a blind spot. Just tried with rows, and yes, it does indeed seem to take increasing time as the number of discontiguous rows increases. Interestingly - I hadn't thought to try columns, since the spreadsheet I'm working in I'm only doing the rows, but I can confirm that my problem is ONLY present for ROWS.
