Hi :) It might be worth googling it (or duck-duck-going it or whatever). I'm not completely sure which screen you mean by "the initial screen" as that kinda depends on how you open LibreOffice. I often just double-click on a document's icon or name and that usually opens it in LibreOffice. So the "initial screen" for me is usually just the document - unless you count the splash-screen that just shows the LibreOffice banner/logo and not much else.
