Hmm, by a "set of lines" do you mean paragrpahs? Or issues with the spacing
of  lines within a single paragraph?

On 5.0.2 and a current master  I don't see errant behavior if they are lines
within a paragraph. The Line Spacing is honored, and is retained.   Changes
to the paragraph Spacing settings have no impact on the internal lines of a
paragraph.

In other words, the Spacing settings only apply to paragraph objects--not
