It is also important to specify which operating system and version you are
using. LO handles Font substitutions differently in Linux and Windows, and
these don't respond the same; since only fonts with the Thai Unicode plane
will work correctly, that can be an issue.

I am currently using LO 5.0.3 and don't see any obvious problem with Thai
display or entry so a better (more detailed) description is definitely in
order.

AND: If you do file this as a bug report, please post back to this thread to
provide the bug number.
