Hi, If I open a document with a font which is not available on my system, the font is replaced by some other font. Don't you happen to know if LO uses any rules according to which the replacement font is chosen? Or the choice is random (unless I set the replacement manually)?
For example, LO may select a font with the same or at least similar metric (e.g Liberation serif instead of Tines New Roma). But I do not know it it really happens. What about other ofiice applications? Do they have anu rules implemented? thanks Milos -- email & jabber: [email protected] -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
