Hi :)
I just saw this on the "Marketing" mailing list.  Usually i don't forwards
things from there but i thought this one might be of interest to a few
people here.

The Document Foundation has many different teams working on specific things
and generally welcomes new people joining their mailing list (or
whatever).  It is sometimes trying out a few different teams before
settling down with one you enjoy.

It looks like Marketing have a few fun things to work on as time-limited,
contained, perhaps even bite-sized projects.  See the email below.

Documentation always has bite-sized things to take on, such as
proof-reading (or technical review) of an individual chapter of a single
guide.  These can often lead on to larger chunks of work depending on how
satisfying or enjoyable the task is for the person volunteering.
