Looks like Flatpak has no influence there but Snappy bug:

... but this workaround is weakens the encryption....

Well - Flatpak version of LibreOffice is a bit outdated but has language
packs and Snap version won't run but is up-to-date - that's the overall
result for now.

But I have to admit that I could run Snap version for a while...
