In specific, I've got some short paragraphs that are sometimes followed immediately by lists that are related to their content. It's preferable not to have those lists start a new page, especially when they follow a one-line paragraph. Widow and orphan control don't help. I suppose this could be a list-specific feature, but the idea is that the first item would be forced to be on the same page as the preceding paragraph, which would often mean that that preceding paragraph would have a line bumped to the next page. I can do this manually with a page break, but I'm looking for something automatic that would go in a style.
