Hi, I'm wanting to prepare a document in writer with a main text body(justified) and marginal references on the right (and possibly also different ones on the left). Each paragraph will have at least one reference. The references need to be tied to their relevant paragraphs. If a subsequent reference is added and this makes the references exceed the height of the paragraph, following paragraphs must shift down to accommodate. Is there a way to achieve this? Thanks Gary
There is no built-in function for marginal notes on Writer, but you can "fake" it by using frames anchored to the paragraph or to the character and setting the position not by drag-n-drop, but by using their properties. You'll need to work a bit if you need the notes to be numbered.
