[libreoffice-users] Mode Default for Insert Media Into Writer

Using insert-> image-> scan-> select source-> scan mode-> mode the 
default is lineart.
How do I change the default to gray or color? Selecting color or gray 
works for one cycle only. There is no "Save" button. I am using 
LibreOffice 5.2.3.3 on Ubuntu 16.10 64 bit.
