Hi :) i think it is possible to have 2 or more instances installed alongside each other. The main thing is (or used to be) to not have "quick launcher" on. I think it's not on by default
I think that if you try to open more than one version of LO at a time then one or both just crash. The quick-launcher thing is one instance.
