"Reply all" will send a reply to the mailinglist and also directly to the person, who has end the mail to the list. So this person will get to mails and only needs one. "Reply to list" (don't know, if it's the right translation ...) will only send a mail to the mailinglist. This is the right way to communicate in a mailinglist.
