Thanks for pointing me to this bug description. I wasn't aware of it. Quite a few .odb files I'll have to edit by hand. Some of them dating back to 2010!
It seems that for the sqllight .odb files there is an option under Edit → Database → Advanced Settings http://document-foundation-mail-archive.969070.n3.nabble.com/Error-messge-interpretation-tp4244053p4244531.html and I can't find it in my .odb file, because it is a mysql database.
