Hi, I sometimes have to translate documents. So that I can see the relationship of the texts I put one language on the right and the other left on the page. For that I use a two-column table which works quite well. Not sure if that is the most elegant solution for what you want. Of course you can format each column as you want (e.g. with no table borders), and the spell-check language can be set separately on each column.
