Good morning
Windows 10 / LO 24.8.0.3
I am still struggling with a lot of funny stuff.
Right now:
I used to use for example "ALT+3" to set the page magnification to
"optimal". Never had any trouble with that.
Now I found that the key combination works - but ONLY with the number
keys on top of the keyboard.
The tenkey keys do NOT work.
Is there a trick to fix this? (I already tried everything I can think
of)
Using a key combination with tenkeys is a lot more convenient than
having to move each to to the top of the keyboard.
Thank you
Thomas
Sorry Thomas, this is expected for the 24.2.1 release onward.
Behavior of the <Alt>+[1-9] vs <Alt>+numPad[1-9] were split. On Windows
the Numpad is now only used to enter Windows "Alt-codes" ASCII/OEM and
Unicode (BMP & SMP) [1].
While the <Alt>+[1-9] keys are assigned to the Sidebar deck shortcuts
(see tdf#158112 and tdf#156443 if you need the details).
The actual keystrokes received from the keyboard are now different
between the NumPad and the number keys.
However, <Alt>+3 should be opening the Gallery Sidebar deck. Only if you
have made a user profile customization in use
where via Tools -> Customize -> Keyboard you have assigned a shortcut
for the .uno:ZoomOptimal to the <Alt>+3 control would that behavior
occur.
