Is there any way to restore the old feature, or, perhaps better, to
switch from an open LO document window to the main LO window where the
recent files are displayed?
To restore edit the 'ShowCurrentModuleOnly' expert configuration to
"false". Defaults at 24.8 to "true".
Tools -> Options -> Open Expert Configuration and search for the stanza.
Clicking the edit button will toggle the Boolean.
Feature as implemented for BZ issue tdf#159120
This will be available in GUI for LO 25.2
There is available
File → Recent Documents → Current Module Only
